To coordinate and facilitate the delivery of training
designed to meet regulatory requirements, company
operating standards and company culture. To assist with
the implementation of needs assessment, course design,
course evaluation and material preparation. To provide
facilitation services for interdepartmental and company-
wide training initiatives.
Key Activities:
•Build positive working relationships with customer
department(s) and learners.
•Deliver training programs competently and consistently,
following a lesson plan and adhering to department
standards.
•Contribute to annual training needs assessments for
Initial, Recurrent, and Special Programs.
•Assist with pre-development needs assessment for
mandated additions to existing programs.
•Assist with the design and development of training
programs, including learning objectives, lesson plans,
instructor guides, and participant materials.
•Evaluate Initial and Recurrent workshops at the Reaction
and Learning Levels.
•Assist with other evaluation efforts led by the Inflight
Training Manager.
•Assist with and maintain Inflight training equipment to
standard and follow safety guidelines in all training
situations.
•Suggest and coordinate changes as required.
•Submit, distribute or maintain local training records in
accordance with government regulations (including Bill 90
in Quebec).
•Provide coordination and facilitation for interdepartmental
training initiatives that may include topics related to
company culture.
•Implement an annual local training plan to meet customer
requirements, minimize operational disruption, and
efficiently manage resources and costs.
•Participate in the selection of, and supervise, Part-time
Trainers.
•Oversee training rooms and training equipment at the
relevant base(s) as required.
•Perform duties in accordance with established policies
and procedures while giving primary consideration to
personal safety, the safety of co-workers and customers.

•Évaluer les ateliers initiaux et périodiques (réaction et
apprentissage).
•Seconder le chef - Formation - Service en vol dans ses
efforts d'évaluation.
•Apporter son aide en ce qui a trait au matériel de
formation propre au service en vol et veiller à ce qu'il soit
conforme aux normes établies. Lors de toute prestation de
cours, suivre les directives énoncées en matière de
sécurité.
•Suggérer et coordonner les changements au besoin.
•Présenter, distribuer ou maintenir les dossiers de
formation conformément à la réglementation
gouvernementale (y compris la loi 90 au Québec).
•Coordonner et animer les initiatives de formation entre
les différents services portant notamment sur la culture
d'entreprise.
•Mettre en œuvre un programme de formation annuel dans
sa région pour répondre aux besoins des clients, limiter
les perturbations opérationnelles et gérer efficacement les
ressources et les coûts.
•Participer à la sélection des formateurs à temps partiel et
assurer leur supervision.
•Prendre en charge les salles de cours et le matériel de
formation dans les bases appropriées, au besoin.
•Accomplir les tâches en fonction des politiques et
procédures établies tout en accordant la priorité à sa
propre sécurité, à celle de ses collègues et des clients.
Qualifications
•Qualified line employees (past or present), or equivalent
combination of training and experience.
•Clear knowledge of line department standards.
•Previous experience facilitating Inflight Training programs
preferred; experience in course design and development
an asset.
•Physical capability and strength/ability to repeatedly open
and close aircraft emergency exits in a training
environment.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
•Strong organizational and time management skills.
•Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent internal
and external customer service.
•Willing to facilitate technical and non-technical topics (i.e.
Service, communication).
•Knowledge of Microsoft Products including Outlook, Word
and Excel
•Ability to teach in both French and English would be an
asset.
