for a Manager of In-Flight Training and Development.

The Manager of In-Flight Training and Development
reporting to the Director of In-Flight, Training and Catering
Services with a direct interface to the Senior Director of
Flight Standards and Training, will coordinate the
development, design and implementation of curriculum,
as well as, writes, updates and evaluates all the training
programs related to the position of flight attendant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Serves as the primary resource regarding FAR’s for In-
Flight training R
•esponsible for development and managing Flight
Attendant initial and recurrent training program
•Responsible for developing aids, examinations and
curriculums for Flight Attendants Responsible for auditing
•In-Flight training and instructors for compliance with
company policies and regulatory requirements
•Writing measurable training objectives
•Designing appropriate instructional strategies, activities,
materials and methods that support adult learning
principles and learning styles
•Conducting evaluations of external training programs and
related materials to assess
•Design appropriate training aids to support performance
and learning
•Designing testing and evaluations of instruments
Conduct cost estimates for course development and
production
•Conduct learner, environment, job task and content
analyses through focus groups, field observations and
employee feedback Maintain the accuracy of content in
student manuals, facilitator guides, training aids and other
classroom materials.
•Maintain project plans covering the design, development
and course implementation schedule
•Responsible for auditing training and instructors for
compliance with Company policies and regulatory
requirements
•Accomplishes duties and responsiblities of a full time
Flight Attendant Instructor
•Assist with Flight Attendant Recruitment and other
corporate functions, as necessary
•Other duties and responsibilites as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Supervises Flight Attendant Instructors, when assigned to
instructor duties

Requirements QUALIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE

•Minimum of three (3) years of Flight Attendant Experience
•Minimum of one (1) year Instruction Experience or
equivalent Ability to meet deadlines.
•Ability to work in fast-paced, changing environment.
•Computer skills allowing for work integration with
company.
•Knowledge of current Federal Aviation Regulations
(FAR’s) Current passport, or must have made application
for one
•Ability to travel freely in and out of the US and international
destinations
•Ability to conduct business in a professional, respectful
and appropriate manner
•Must be Corporate (RFD) Based.
•High School Diploma or equivalent College Degree
preferred
•Prior instructional design, development and training
experience, preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

•Must complete Ryan International Airlines Flight Attendant
Training
•Proficient in software applications including Microsoft
Office, PowerPoint, Excel and desktop publishing
•Preferred previous experience developing training
materials (manuals, handouts, worksheets, training
activities, ect.)
•Knowledge of instructional methods, learning
technologies and adult learning principles
•Previous flight attendant and/or airline experience,
strongly recommended CBT and Web page design and
maintenance preferred
•Proven ability in needs assessment methods and project
management Ability to effectively communicate both
verbally and in written form with all levels of employees
•Good analytical, interpersonal, organizational and
planning skills Ability to perform as a team player in a fast
paced environment
•Ability to work well with others
•Ability to work with minimal supervision
•Good attendance and work history
