JOB SUMMARY:
Perform pilot ground school training utilizing classroom,
CBT, training devices, etc. Develop curriculum for pilot
training.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Perform pilot initial, recurrent, requalification, etc. ground
school training to include classroom, CBT, FTD, etc.
- Develop curriculum and training courseware for ground
school training. leave coverage, etc.) and other duties as
required when Senior FCTI is unavailable; Other duties as
assigned by Management.

Flight Crew Training Instructor - an Instructor who
performs the duties normally associated with an
Instructor's job function including but not limited to the
following: training, instructing and the teaching of pilot
personnel in either formal classroom or individual
situations. Such training will be performed using, but not
limited to, such equipment as cockpit procedure trainers
(CPT), advanced training devices (ATD), cockpit system
simulators (CSS), procedure training mock ups (PTM),
computer based trainers (CBT), and similar equipment.
Additionally, Instructors shall use standard classroom
aids including but not limited to audio/visual (A/V)
equipment, VCR's, TV monitors, etc. Further, Instructors
will administer oral and written examinations and will
assist in preparation and development of tests and course
curricula. Instructors may be given special assignments
which may include travel and special projects as may be
assigned. Instructors may be required to maintain and
complete any forms used in the training functions such as
recommendation for orals, attendance, student
evaluations and proficiency records.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum:
-Four-year degree from an accredited college or university
or equivalent work experience
-Ability to effectively communicate with all organizational
levels both orally and in writing
-Proficient in Microsoft office products including Word, and
PowerPoint
-Ability to perform accurately in a high volume department
with excellent organizational and follow-up skills
-Ability to work well with others as well as independently
-1-2 years experience teaching with Part 121 or Advanced
Qualification Programs (AQP) aircrew training programs
using flight training devices
-Dependable and flexible work record

Preferred:
-ATP, FAR Part 121 Aircrew member or Commercial Pilot?
s License with instrument and multiengine ratings or
equivalent military aircrew experience
-Experience developing electronic/distance learning or
Internet based instruction
-Four year degree in related field
-Minimum of three (3) years experience with Airbus,
Boeing, Embraer, or FMS equipped aircraft
-Minimum of three (3) years experience teaching in a
classroom and/or flight simulator environment
