How are people selected?
First we'll assess your application. Then you'll be invited to
attend a recruitment event, which normally takes place at
our training centre in West Drayton, close to London
Heathrow Airport. Occasionally we may hold events in the

The morning session, which begins at 9.15am, consists
of group activities and lasts approximately 3 hours. If you're

Where are Cabin Crew based?
We currently have Cabin Crew based at the following

lists.

You'll remain at your original base for 12 months before
you can transfer to another.

Are longhaul crew recruited?
At the present time all new entrants will operate on our
mainline fleet. Vacancies for the longhaul fleet are
advertised internally when available.

What hours do Cabin Crew work?
The length of your days will vary, depending on how many
sectors you are rostered to complete. A sector is a one
way flight. The number of sectors may vary and is
dependent on the length of the flight. You may have to start
as early as 5.00am (which could mean getting up as early
as 3.00am). You may finish as late as 11.30pm. Some
night stopping away from your base may be rostered.
Charter flights may require reporting for duty/finishing at
any time of the day or night. In addition, your working day
may be affected by delays or changes to your flights.

How do rosters work?
Cabin Crew are given a roster four to eight weeks in
advance. Duty days will vary between early starts and late
finishes, the number of sectors worked and may include
standby duties at home or at the airport. The hours of work
are governed by Civil Aviation Authority regulations. Time
off will vary and you should expect to work weekends,
Christmas and bank holidays as the airline operates 365
days of the year. Published rosters may change due to
operational requirements.

What are the career prospects?
You will join as Cabin Crew, and you can be promoted to
more senior positions such as Flight Supervisor, Cabin
Service Manager or Cabin Service Performance Manager.
Promotion is based on merit and subject to vacancies.
Some posts require a minimum period of service,
although previous flying experience may be taken into
consideration. Outside of operational Cabin Crew, there
are other opportunities within cabin services or other
departments and all vacancies are advertised internally.

Placement for Flight Attendants:
During training, the flight attendants are assigned a base
in which they will work. The bases are Houston, TX,
Newark, NJ, Cleveland, OH and Chicago, IL. Although flight
attendants are not required to live full time in their base
city, they are required to set up some type of living
arrangement that will enable them to be available to fly as
needed at the Flight Attendant’s expense.

Once training is completed, new flight attendants are
placed on reserve status where they could remain for a
minimum of one year. This means they work when called
upon to fill in for absent or vacationing flight attendants or
on extra flights. The Flight Attendants must be able to get
to their assigned base airport within 60 minutes of call out.
After being on reserve status, flight attendants bid for
regular assignments, and generally get their choices
based on airline system seniority.

Compensation for Flight Attendants:
The starting salary is $19.00 per flight hour with a
guarantee of 80 hours per month. This equals $1520.00
per month and $18,240.00 per year gross earnings. In
addition, flight attendants are paid a per diem of $1.80 for
each hour of active duty.

A Day in a Flight Attendant's Life:
On a typical day a flight attendant will:
· Proceed to the airport and park in a remote parking
lot to take an employee bus to the terminal
· Locate their assigned aircraft from their schedule
and wait for their crew to board
· Be briefed by the aircraft captain on emergency
evacuation procedures, coordination of the crew, the
length of the flight, expected weather conditions, and
special information having to do with passengers
· Make sure that first-aid kits and other emergency
equipment are aboard and in working order
· Assess the passenger cabin to make sure there are
adequate supplies of food and beverage
· Greet passengers as they enter the aircraft, check
their tickets, answer any questions pertaining to the flight
and assist them with carry-on bag stowage
· Instruct passengers in the use of emergency
equipment and exit row seating requirements
· Check to see that passengers' seat belts are
fastened, seats are in the upright position, and bags are
properly stowed prior to takeoff
· Assist passengers in the event of an emergency
· Reassure passengers in the event of turbulence
· Direct passengers off of the aircraft in the event they
must evacuate due to an emergency situation
· Distribute beverages and snacks
· Help those needing assistance, e.g. small children,
elderly or disabled passengers
· Administer first aid to ill patients
· Prepare reports on passengers' medical problems,
lost and found articles, and condition of cabin equipment
· Remain overnight in company selected hotels. The
normal schedule for a first year Flight Attendant may
consist of 5 nights away from base at a time for up to 3
times per month.

Conduct, design and produce FAA, DOT and company-
regulated training and special programs. Develop and

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Conduct FAA and DOT regulated Initial and Recurrent
training for all Frontier Flight Attendants. Ensure FAA
compliance in all Flight Attendant training, failure to do so
would result in significant fines or operational closure.
Supervise Flight Attendant Trainees during initial training

necessary.
Perform needs analysis, design, development and

Responsible for assisting with writing and revisiting the
Flight Attendant Manual.
Supervise the creation and maintenance of FAA-regulated
flight attendant training database.
Support special projects and committees.
Provide feedback to management on personnel-related
activities of training participants.
Monitor and coordinate all correspondence with the FAA
Coordinate the completion of all forms related to flight
attendant training.
Receive and answer flight attendant phone call questions.
Update, alter and modify training manuscripts.
Maintain record of all training activities, participants and
results.
Plan, schedule and prepare for flight attendant training
including room set-up and clean up.
Support other departmental trainers and their training in
matters such as room set-up and clean up.

Requirements Required Education, Experience and
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor Degree preferred
Prior experience in leadership role.
One year on line experience as a line Flight Attendant.
Professional experience in teaching, training or adult
education.
Proficient in Flight Line FLICA computer training bidding
and have a working knowledge of SABRE
In-depth knowledge of Flight Attendant job requirements,
policies and procedures, and related issues as well as
airline operations.
Proven ability in the evaluation, creation, design and
implementation of curriculum and supporting materials.
Knowledge of conducting training needs assessment for

3. Selection Procedure :
a) The WALK-IN Selection Procedure includes -

4. Terms of employment and training :
i) Appointment : Selected candidates will be appointed by Air India Charters Ltd. as AIRLINE ATTENDANTS, for wide body aircraft, on a fixed-term contract, for a period of three years, based at Delhi. Those appointed are liable to be transferred to any station in India.
ii) Training : Selected candidates on joining the company will initially be placed as Trainee Airline Attendant and will undergo in-house training at Mumbai. The training period expected to be six months, may vary at the discretion of the management. During the period of training, they will be paid an all inclusive stipend of Rs.8,000/- per month.
iii) Period of Contract : On successful completion of Training, candidates will be appointed on a fixed-term contract for a period of three years, which could be terminated at the discretion of the Management during the tenure of contract, and/or in the event of unsatisfactory performance or Company requirements.
iv) Emoluments : On successful completion of in-house training and released to fly on line, they will be offered a fixed salary of Rs.13800/- per month. In addition, they will be entitled to applicable flying allowances on a per hour basis. The indicative total emoluments per month for 60 hrs of flying will be approx. Rs.41800/-.
v) Performance Bond : Selected candidates will have to execute a bond of Rs.3 lacs at the time of joining, to serve the company for a minimum period of 3 years and an undertaking to this effect.
5. General Conditions :
i) Reservations and relaxations for SC/ST candidates and Ex-Servicemen will be granted as per Govt of India Rules.
ii) SC/ST/OBC candidates must submit proof (attested copy) of caste certificate in support of their claim that they belong to such category.
iii) Scheduled Caste candidates who were originally professing Hindu religion and have embraced Neo-Buddhism will also be considered for appointment against the post reserved for SC.
iv) ST candidates must submit a validity certificate (attested copy) issued by the State competent authority wherever applicable.
v) The candidates belonging to OBC categories, at the time of application, must submit duly attested photocopy of the certificate recently issued by the Competent Authority, in the format as prescribed by the Govt. of India. The Certificate, inter alia, must specifically state that the candidate does not belong to socially advanced sections excluded from the benefits of reservations for OBC in civil posts and services under the Government of India. The Certificate should also contain the “Non-Creamy Layer” Clause. The Certificate produced by the candidates of OBC community should be as per the Central List published by the Government of India and not as per the State Lists.

vi) SC/ST candidates called for Personal Interview (s), residing beyond 80 kms. from the nearest Selection Centre to their residence, and not employed in any Government, Semi-Government / Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Bodies, will be reimbursed second class to & fro rail / bus fare by the shortest route as per rules, on production of evidence to that effect, along with a copy of the call-letter for Personal Interview.
vii) Applicants ordinarily domiciled in the Kashmir Division of J & K State during 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 who are eligible for the upper age relaxation, must produce the Domicile Certificate to this effect at the time of Interview from the District Magistrate in the Kashmir Division, within whose jurisdiction the applicant had ordinarily resided or any other authority designated in this regard by the Government of Jammu & Kashmir.
viii) If at any stage, it is detected that any candidate does not meet with the requirement stipulated for the post or has furnished false / incorrect information, their candidature will be cancelled and if appointed, their services in the company will be terminated, without assigning any reason.
ix) Candidates must bring the original certificates for verification purposes only, but should not submit/attach along with the application. The Company is not responsible for returning any original copies of certificates/testimonials submitted with the application.
x) Fees once paid, along with the application, will not be refunded on any account, nor would this fee be held in reserve for any future examination or selection.

Position: Cabin Attendant (Hamburg, Germany)
Description: Take off with Eurowings – be one of our Cabin Attendants

At Eurowings Luftverkehrs AG you will be flying mostly on
scheduled flights. Eurowings operates up to about 300
flights daily on scheduled and holiday flights. You will
accompany our passengers and be responsible for safety
and service on board. We look forward to receiving your

Requirement profile
You are a spontaneous, outgoing, responsible team-
player? Do you enjoy working in a service oriented
environment and do you really enjoy working with people?
Do you see shift work as a challenge? If your answer is
Yes, then you have very important prerequisites for working
above the clouds with Eurowings.

The ideal Eurowings flight attendant should have the
following qualities and skills:

Education: Abitur (secondary) or mittlere Reife (lower
secondary)

Work experience: Completed vocational training and
experience in the service industry

Languages:
Very good written and spoken German and English

Body height: 1.60 m – 1.75 m

Other requirements
• Appearance should be appropriately stylish and well-
groomed. You should have an assured and personal
attitude.
• Your body weight and height should be in a good
proportion.
• Good general health
• + / - 5 diopters
• Willingness and ability to work under pressure
• Must be able to reach by phone. Must live in the direct
vicinity (max. 50km)
• Unrestricted driver's license class III
• Valid passport
• Non EU-nationals require right of residence

Documents: Certificates of all prior jobs

We offer
Contract: 24 months
Probation period: 6 months
Training: approx. 6 weeks, 4 weeks theory and 2 weeks
practical)
Uniform: Will be supplied
Holidays: 42 calendar days per year
Time off : 9 days per month / 120 days per year

• 13th monthly salary
• Daily travel and accommodation expenses during period
of flying duty will be refunded .
• Additional flying hours are paid

Selection process
Eurowings will select from the written applications
according to the above requirement criteria. If your
application meets the requirements, we will invite you to
an interview. This will include a so called assessment
center, where candidates are tested for constructive
problem-solving skills arising in touch with customers.
The last hurdle before working above the clouds is the
medical examination to prove that you are fit to fly. Are you
