Description
The In-flight Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the consistent
delivery of the In-flight product, monitoring overall performance of
a team of Flight Attendants, and supporting and achieving
departmental goals. Through leading and coaching, the In-Flight
Supervisor gains commitment from their team of flight attendants
to provide excellent service and meet the performance goals of the
In-Flight Service Department.

Role and Responsibilities:
•Guide, counsel, and hold accountable a diverse team of front line
customer service employees relative to safe work practices,
performance issues, and overall dependability.
•Build positive work relationships with flight attendants to engage
and motivate.
•Provide technical guidance and interpret company policies and
procedures to assist flight attendants in performing duties in
compliance with the AFA Agreement.
•Provide support to the flight attendants during irregular operations
and safety incidents/accidents
•Conduct on-going performance evaluations of individual Flight
Attendants.
•Reinforce positive performance through recognition programs.
•Improve customer service ratings through coaching sessions and
mentoring
•Ensure compliance with regulatory procedures (Federal Aviation
Regulations, manual compliance, etc.) and company policies
•Conduct investigations including participating in question and
answer sessions/meetings.
•Routinely perform appearance checks to ensure compliance with
uniform guidelines
•Monitor lost time by conducting attendance reviews prior to the
FA's next trip
•Perform Flight Attendant Manual checks
•Complete check rides to monitor delivery of In-flight product
•Conduct concourse duties to support corporate goals
•Support the In-Flight Department on-time performance goals and
operational objectives.
•Complete daily reports used for operational analysis
•Coordinate within and across departments resolving onboard
issues and product failures
•Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
•Previous Flight Attendant experience preferred, must be able to
hold Flight Attendant qualification
•High school diploma, college degree preferred
•Proven leadership ability
•Professional appearance and demeanor
•Proven ability to work well with others and communicate
effectively to people on all levels
•Proven ability to coach, motivate, and direct subordinates.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

•Work Authorization: Eligibility to work in the United States without
sponsorship (current or future)
•Background: Ability to provide 10 years of employment,
education, unemployment history per FAR 108.33
•Background: Completion of FBI criminal history check that
reveals no felony convictions in most recent 10 years
