Mesa Supervisor

Position: East Coast Inflight Manager
Description: The Regional Manager of In-flight Services reports to the Vice President of In-flight Services and is responsible for providing direction, motivation, and development to the Mesa Airlines, Inc. In-flight team; Maintaining compliance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations; Serves as a Liaison to the FAA, Flight Operations, Crew Scheduling, Dispatch and Maintenance Departments to create and maintain excellent working relationships; Manages ongoing team performance and productivity through direct contact and consistent application/demonstration of Mesa Airlines, Inc. core values and company guidelines to ensure the highest standards of service.



Essential Functions:

· Continuously improve the flight cabin procedures and In-flight service processes.

· Ensure fair and consistent disciplinary standards with appropriate review and consequence models.

· Advise the Vice President of In-flight Services on the status of flight attendant operations.

· Provide leadership and guidance to the In-flight Administration Team to ensure flight attendant performance, professionalism and compliance with company policies and procedures are achieved.

· Coordinate with the Manager of In-flight Training to ensure interfacing between flight operations training and other flight operation manuals as they pertain to In-flight Service.

· Manage monthly In-flight Budget.

· Responsible for continued compliance of the Flight Attendant Manual.

· Responsible for the evaluation of all flight attendants on an annual basis.

· Serve as a member of the Technical Publications Review Board.

· Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team, providing information about cabin and flight attendant activities.

· Serve as a member of the In-flight Safety Committee.

· Oversight of daily In-flight operations, including attendance, performance and support.

· Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements:

· Must possess superior leadership and managerial skills and have previous In-flight Instructor and/or In-flight Supervisor experience.

· Must stay current and qualified on all relevant aircraft.

· Demonstrate negotiations and complex problem solving skills.

· Have full knowledge of policies and procedures associated with flight attendant duties.

· Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Info Path, Adobe and Publisher. Must possess excellent typing skills.

· Complex problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

· Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience and two years of airline operations experience.

· Excellent interpersonal, communication (both written and oral) and strong organizational skills. Must be able to edit the writing of others, converting rough drafts into finished documents.

· Must be willing to work odd hours including some evenings, weekends, holidays and on-call.

· Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test.

· Must have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigrations Act.
