SALARY LEVEL: $24,000.00/annual
REPORTS TO: Director of In-flight Services

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 21 years of age
High School diploma or GED
Fluency in English, both verbal and written
Valid drivers license with good driving record
Stable employment history
Dedicated to customer service, positive and professional
image, great communication skills
• Able to operate aircraft emergency equipment including opening a 40lb emergency exit door
• Able to tolerate inclement weather, turbulence, and pressurization changes while on duty
• Able to work weekends, holidays, late nights and early mornings, possibly with short notice
• Able to work onboard aircraft in challenging conditions; including possible turbulence, ill passengers
• Able to tolerate odors and chemicals associated with aircraft and ramp activities
• Able to lift 20 lbs overhead
• Some swimming skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for maintaining high standards of safety and in-flight services based on Federal Aviation Regulations and company policy. Work closely with other crewmembers and flight operations. Must be flexible; some out of town travel may be required.
Work shifts of up to twelve hours as the sole flight attendant; duties include standing, sitting, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
Assist passengers with seating and carry-on baggage.

Hiring local only!

Provide basic first aid to passengers who may need medical attention during flight.
Operate emergency exits and other emergency equipment if necessary.

Successful candidates must be willing to relocate to Anchorage, be capable and flexible in meeting the demands

Upon successful completion of flight training, applicants may be offered full-time, employment. However, there is no guarantee of a position after training is completed.
Class time will be paid at the current minimum wage of $7.75 per hour.
