Job Purpose
To manage and develop a core recruitment team that
selects individuals who can deliver Etihad’s vision and
values by providing inspirational onboard services that
ensures our guests choose to fly Etihad every time.
Recommend and implement innovative recruitment
initiatives and methodologies that contribute to the
establishment and improvement in the efficiencies and
service levels. Drive high levels of recruitment service in a
fast paced ever changing environment

Responsibilities Your responsibilities shall include but not
limited to:
Develop recruitment initiatives and strategies. Exploring
and recommending new practices, uses of technology,
maximizing e-Recruitment tools and web based solutions
to achieve cost-effective employment goals.
Manage all administrative processes and daily allocation
of work assignments within the department ensuring that
these are carried out in a smooth, effective, cost efficient
and timely manner in line with established budgets and
procedures
Develop and manage a core team of recruitment
professionals and monitor on-the-job performance
feedback and coaching.
Maintain relationships with all third party agencies to
identify, develop and leverage maximum benefit for the
Company in terms of speed of recruitment, cost-
effectiveness and service delivery.
Oversee and ensure all recruitment advertisements and
initiatives via internal or external channels strictly comply
with the corporate marketing directive and follow
standardized formats
Demonstrate financial awareness to reduce direct costs
and achieve (yearly) departments targets and achieving
the most cost-effective recruitment approach

Requirements

Qualification and Education

Degree level education in business administration or
related subjects. Additional HR qualification highly
desirable but not essential.

Experience and Skills:

5 years experience in a high volume recruitment
supervisory role ideally within an airline or hospitality
industry.

Training & Knowledge:

Well developed communication and strong interpersonal
skills
High level of negotiation and influencing skills.
A thorough knowledge and understanding of IT systems;
MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Outlook, Internet,
a Recruitment Database.
