Suitable Mauritian candidates will be offered employment
for a period of 7 years after completion of the relevant
training programmes.

To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must meet the
following criteria/profile:
• A. School Certificate (SC) or General Certificate of
Education (GCE) ‘O’ Level with minimum of 5 subjects
including credits in English and French at one and same
sitting or an alternative acceptable qualification to Air
Mauritius Ltd Management.
OR
B. Higher School Certificate (HSC) / General Certificate of
Education with 2 ‘A’ Levels at one and same sitting or an
equivalent qualification including English & French.
HSC/GCE with 2 “A” levels holders should have General
Paper and French at principal/subsidiary level or an
alternative acceptable qualification to Air Mauritius Ltd
Management.
• An excellent command of English and French is the key
pre-requisite for a cabin crew position. A good standard
of fluency in the English and French languages both
spoken and written is required. Mandarin speaking is a
must and any other language would be an advantage;
• Minimum age 18 years and maximum age 30 years as at
time of application
• Minimum height of 157.5 cms (minimum arm reach of
212 cms on tip toes)
• Body Mass Index (BMI) 18.5 to 24.9
• Good swimming abilities
• Good health is essential to cope with the physical nature
of cabin duties. Short- listed candidates will be required
to pass a pre-employment medical examination to
determine their fitness to fly as Cabin Crew. For eyesight,
a visual acuity of 6/9 in each eye is required, aided or
unaided
• Immaculate appearance
• Applicants must hold a 10 year passport validity before
employment
• No visible tattoos or body piercing which cannot be
discreetly covered
• Strong Customer focus
• Nursing or first aid is an advantage
