Basic Functions :

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language

Must be 18 years of age or older

Posseses good verbal communications skills

Must have good customer service skills

Successful completion of initial and recurrent flight attendant training, which includes, but not limited to: emergency passenger evacuation management, use of life rafts, including firefighting, emergency landing and ditching procedures, Crew Resource Management, security and instructions on administering first aid, CPR, and defibrillation.

Physical Abilities Required:

Physical strength, dexterity, stamina and mobility to follow evacuation procedures, including emergency exit operating mechanisms.

Must be able to lift and carry minimum of 50 pounds on a repetitive basis

Must be able to stand and walk continuously during work shift, with infrequent periods of sitting

Must be able to reach up to 72 inches in height with both arms

Height must be 5’10” feet tall or less.

Able to frequently bend, twist, push while handling luggage, and weights up to 80 pounds

Primarily on the aircraft in a pressurized cabin environment

Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests

* Responsibility:

Ensure passenger and cabin safety including compliance with all Company policies and Federal regulations. Maintains high level of energy while working independently and in a team environment. Represents PenAir in a positive manner in all interactions. May be scheduled to perform duties relative to emplaning and deplaning passengers and other clerical/office duties as assigned.
