Position: Flight Attendants (Houston, TX)
Description: On behalf of Atlas Air, Inc., Global In-Flight Services is seeking Houston based Flight Attendant’s / In-Flight Crew. Potential candidates should be friendly, enthusiastic individuals who will ensure guest comfort and company safety on each flight. A successful candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills and will ensure that each guest has a wonderful and safe flight. As an ambassador of our Company our Flight Attendants will be knowledgeable and gracious hosts. All candidates offered positions must be able to successfully complete the Company/FAA required training program. Finally, the candidate will need to show a strong desire to maintain a positive, approachable manner and will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for each and every customer. Prior Flight Attendant experience is not required.



Major Job Accountabilities:
· Flight attendants must maintain a high degree of technical competence and the ability to perform all functions as directed.
· Flight attendants will utilize all pre-flight time with assisting customers boarding the aircraft as well as conduct safety and emergency exit briefing.
· Flight attendants will utilize all in-flight time with our customers to accomplish prescribed services, and upon the completion of any food or beverage service, will continue to devote time to providing care and hospitality.

Qualifications:
· Must have at least High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
· Able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language.
· Successfully complete In-Flight Training Program, including Initial Training and Annual Continuous Education Programs
· Vision corrected to 20/20
· Two (2) years customer service experience
· Able to effectively operate all onboard emergency exits and equipment
· Able to push meal and beverage carts weighing 250-300 pounds
· Able to reach seventy inches – subject to Airplane Specifications
· Able to stand for extended periods with limited rest periods
· Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays – subject to flight schedule
· Currently in possession of a valid Passport with the ability to travel in and out of the United States on a frequent basis
· Pass a ten (10) year background check, pre-employment drug test and criminal history records check
· Authorized to work in the United States
· Must be 21 years of age at the time of application
