Position: Cabin Crew (openings in Lithuania, Serbia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Ukraine)

of 35 Airbus A320 aircraft, with an average aircraft age of

Czech Republic, Serbia and Lithuania, offering flights on

Working as cabin crew!
As a Wizz cabin crew member you will have a busy and fun
lifestyle, a very different from that one of a “regular” job. You
need to be flexible and resilient to the demands of working
in unusual schedule, yet after hours we enjoy spending
time together, also to celebrate many occasions like
Christmas or company anniversaries. We encourage you
to join our team of cabin crew!

Requirements for a cabin attendant candidate

If you would like to be part of our success, and become a
cabin attendant, please check the below minimum
requirements before you submit your application with us:
• Aged 19 or over
• Minimum 165cm (girls) and 170 cm (boys) in height
• High school education degree
• Fluent English both written and spoken
• Ability to swim
• Ability to reach the base airport in one hour during
standby duty
• Some face-to-face customer service experience and
sales skills

The perfect candidate also:
• Possesses excellent communication skills
• Is flexible and resilient to the demands of working in
unusual schedule
• Is able to work under pressure
• Can easily work in a team
• An intermediate -level language exam (A, B or C) in one
of the world languages is required by the Hungarian Civil
Aviation Authority.

Additional information
• Tattoos and piercing (other than one earring per ear) are
acceptable but must not be visible.
• Please note that if you wear glasses or contact lenses
and your prescription is above (+) or below (–) 4 you are
likely to fail the mandatory medical examination.
Please also note that Wizz Air will require that any
successful candidate to join the basic training will need to
present a clear criminal record from the home country.
Selection process

The selection day (assessment centre) is comprised of
the following sections:
• Company introduction
• Assessment centre type of activities and team games to
assess the applicants’
communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills,
as well as ability to work in a group.
• Personal interviews

Please, note that during the assessment day selections
will be made gradually, and candidates will be informed
about the results on the spot after each section. Only if you
complete all the selection rounds successfully you will be
offered the basic training course.

Training
Candidates who pass successfully our selection process
are offered a five-week training.
Absence is not accepted, so all participants have to make
sure they are able to attend the complete course.
Additionally there is a one-day emergency training held at
the airport facilities in Vienna.

Subjects of the training include:
• First Aid
• Aviation Security
• A320 Type training
• Cabin Attendant Duty Training
• Catering/Sales training

According to our current practice the cost of the training
course is covered by Wizz Air, except for the fee of the
obligatory medical exam which is approx. 140 Euro, and to
be paid by a candidate.

After the successful completion and a two-week
administrative period you will receive a Hungarian (or
local) steward/ess license.

Wizz offers employment to everybody who successfully
completes the basic course, based on an indefinite period
employment contract, with a three-month probationary
period.

Career at Wizz Air!

Junior Cabin Attendant
After successful completion of the basic training course
you start your career as a Junior Cabin Attendant.

Cabin Attendant
After 9 months, and successfully passed the internal
exam, you will be promoted to Cabin Attendant.

Senior Cabin Attendant
After completing one year of work as a cabin attendant,
and having at least 500 flight hours performed, you fulfill
the formal minimum criteria to apply for a Senior Cabin
Attendant position. As Wizz Air is a dynamically growing
company, we will offer many opportunities to be promoted
to this position.

Cabin Crew Line Trainer
In the course of having continuously more aircraft in our
fleet, we need cabin crew line trainers, whose main
responsibility is to conduct flight checks in line with the
regulatory guidelines. We require from a candidate for this
position at least 6 months of experience as Senior Cabin
Attendant and good interpersonal skills for coaching.

Instructor
Having more aircraft in fleet means we are continuously in
need of cabin crew experts to train new, as well as, current
members of cabin crew. To be eligible to become
instructor, you need to meet the criteria for Cabin Crew
Line Trainer, have expert technical knowledge about the
Airbus 320 cabin environment, and present excellent
interpersonal and trainer’s competences.
