We are now recruiting Cabin Crew in the New York area who must live within 2 hours of Newark (EWR) International Airport. A local address will be verified. Commuting is not allowed.

Who are we looking for?
You do not need to have previous Cabin Crew experience but you must:
Have a passion for delivering excellent customer service
Be enthusiastic, friendly and approachable
Enjoy working as part of a team
Be able to communicate effectively
Ideally have a bilingual capability, specifically English and French

Important Information
You will need to be within 2 hours travelling distance to EWR airport for up to 20 days a month. Your schedule will contain a combination of rostered trips, contactable days and standby duties.
Your entitlement to Health Plan benefits which will commence after 3 months service with OpenSkies.
Travel concessions with BA after 6 months of service. Please note at the moment we do not have Interline agreements with other airline carriers.
Essential Job requirements:
o Minimum age 21
o Possess a high school diploma, GED or other equivalent form of education
o Clearance of a 10 year background check
o Height range minimum of 5ft 2' (without shoes)- to a maximum of 6ft 2' (with shoes) and able to vertically reach up to 82 inches
o Height and weight proportionate, body size cannot exceed specific aircraft dimensions (example: jump seat harness without modification, cabin aisle and emergency exits)
o Be legally authorised to work in the United States and able to make multiple exits and entrances into the US and all countries that OpenSkies serve.
o Possess a current and valid passport.
o Must be able to swim unaided for 25 m and tread water for 1 minute.
o Have a good command of written and spoken English.
o Fluent French speaking abilities highly desired. Other speaking knowledge of other European languages preferred as well.
o Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
o Employment is subject to a successful completion of a medical exam conducted in France meeting the requirements of the French aviation authority. A successful completion of a medical exam will be conducted before acceptance to the training program.
o Able to train at one or more of our training facilities in the U.S. and/or Europe.
o Have no visible tattoos.
o Have the ability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 55 pounds, such as beverage stowage bins.
o 12 months recent experience in a customer related environment
o Compliance with OpenSkies uniform and grooming standards
o Have a good understanding of the European culture
o Have access to a computer connected to the internet
