SUMMARY This position is responsible of the Vice President of Operations for the supervision of all Flight Attendants.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Overall administration, staffing and supervision of Flight Attendants.

Oversees the training of Flight Attendants, both service and safety, by coordinating with the Director of Training.

Directs activities of Company In-Flight Management and Instructors

Directs development of training forms and other materials as needed to update class material in coordination with the Director of Training.

Keeps current and knowledgeable of all FAA regulations and Company policies and makes certain Flight Attendants receive the information in a timely manner.

Supervises assigned personnel to ensure maximum efficiency and oversees perations of Flight Attendants as domiciled.

Responsible to review Crew/Flight Reports and other communications and concerns of Line Flight Attendants to ensure proper investigation and determine if corrective action is required.

Assures Line Checks for current Flight Attendants and competence checks for new Flight Attendants.

Responsible for the compliance of safety and service of regulations and policies being met by Flight Attendants and when not in compliance, the discipline and/or termination when necessary.

The assurance of service organization and equipment is implemented when new aircraft are added to the fleet.

Conduct training of evacuation procedures to ensure safety of passenger and initiate these procedures as necessary to attain certification of new aircraft.

Any other duties assigned by the Voce President of Operations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTIES

Manages subordinate supervisors who service a total of 200 plus employees, which consists of the Manager of In-Flight; and Base Coordinators, Lead Flight Attendants and Flight Attendants. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Also directly supervises one non-supervisory employee. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complains and resolving problems.

Requirements

Director of In-Flight Services

QUALIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE


* Minimum of three (3) years of Flight Attendant Experience
* Ability to meet deadlines.
* Strong organizational and planning skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work well with others.
* Ability to work in fast-paced, changing environment.
* Computer skills allowing for work integration with company.
* Preferred knowledge of current Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR’s)
* Current passport, or must have made application for one
* Ability to travel freely in and out of the US and international destinations
* Ability to conduct business in a professional, respectful and appropriate manner
* Must be Corporate (RFD) Based.


EDUCATION

* High School Diploma or equivalent
* College Degree preferred

* Must complete Ryan International Airlines Flight Attendant Training
