Brief Description
POSITION PURPOSE: MANAGES ALL ASPECTS OF BOTH INTERNAL
AND EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION FOR THE INFLIGHT
ORGANIZATION.
Detailed Description
· Overall responsibility for the development of all
communication directed to Flight Attendants regarding Company
Policy, Onboard Products, and Safety and Compliance information.
· Manages multiple communication paths for the effective,
efficient delivery of all InFlight information to Fight Attendants,
including electronic venues, as well as hard copy advisories and
posters.
· Responsible for maintaining all Dining and Cabin Services
information on Wings
· Manages the :Ask InFlight” communication process, to ensure
that feedback from Flight Attendants is evaluated and considered
appropriately, and follow up to Flight Attendants takes place in a
timely fashion
· Responsible to ensure the effective management of Crew
Communications Centers at all InFlight domiciles and training
centers
· Manages all Dining Cabin Services information to frontline
catering personnel
· Responsible for creating and maintaining the Company’s
Catering Manual
· Primary liaison between InFlight and other Departments,
including Marketing, to ensure that all InFlight information is
communicated appropriately and timely
· Responsible for other special projects as assigned
Job Requirements
· Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/training
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Previous experience in journalism/public relations/corporate
communications/technical writing/academia, with heavy emphasis
on writing
· Ability to collaboratively interact with all levels of employees,
within and outside the company
· Thorough knowledge of Flight Attendant procedures
· Professional presentation skills
· Excellent organizational abilities
· Outstanding analytical and leadership skills
· Proficient with all Microsoft Office software
· Self-starter with great attention to details
· Proven ability to represent the Company and build positive
rapport with working relationships
· Strong creative and innovative thinking abilities, with a focus
on identifying strategic opportunities to improve communication
with Flight Attendants and other internal and external constituents
· Willingness to travel
