Instructor, Inflight Training

Summary:
Provide instruction in compliance with the Flight Attendant Training
Manual for new-hires and current associates and maintain/update
the training courses.

department.

Business Excellence

Design, develop, and deliver both technical and soft skill training
events.
Conduct Initial, Recurrent, Transition, Requalification, and
Differences Training.
Support the company vision by maintaining a leadership role and
by ensuring company and departmental policies and procedures
are consistently adhered to at all times in any training event; all
classroom settings, and out in the field.
Travel for training, staff meetings, and other purposes as required
by the Supervisor.
Maintain training records, rosters, and class reports as required by
FAA requirements and the department. Maintain presentation skills
by instructing frequent classes and staying abreast of all
procedures.
Coordinate class preparation lists with in training team for
individual goals and deadlines. Ensure post-class clean up and
preparation lists are followed, and completed, and ready for next
training event.
Assess situations using some advanced skills or integrate a limited
number of alternatives to reach timely and appropriate solutions.
Aggressively pursue the function’s business objectives.
Identify critical success factors for your function and establish
priorities based on those factors.

Acquire and apply new and innovative approaches within the
function.
Effectively translate ideas into actions within the function and
advance them within the department.
Effectively contribute ideas and processes within multiple functions
to prepare for future changes, while maintaining current success

Qualifications:

3-5 years experience. (Required)
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. (Required)
No licensures or certification required. (Required)
General business knowledge required. (Required)

Additional Qualifications

Advanced technical skills, and ability to adapt
procedures/processes/techniques. (Required)
Ability to work independently or as part of a team. (Required)
Flight Attendant Currency. (Required)
Ability to work with minimal supervision. (Required)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with
attention to detail. (Required)
Post High School education. (Preferred)
Previous teaching and/or instructing experience. (Preferred)

Working Conditions:
Classroom, Office, Aircraft, Hangar, Ramp.

Working Hours:
Hours vary depending on the training schedule. You may be
expected to work in inclement weather conditions as training
events outside of training center.

Training Requirements:
Flight Attendant Certification required. Instructor currency
maintained by regular attendance at workshops to acquire latest
training presentation and delivery techniques.
-Must attend flight attendant initial training course in order to
obtain flight attendant certification.
-Training background preferred, education background preferred,
corporate education background.
