Description:
Flight Attendants are in continuous contact with the public
and must possess the ability to handle difficult situations,
ranging from disorderly, intoxicated, irate, or unhappy
passengers, to unaccompanied children.
In the event of an emergency, Flight Attendants must
prepare to evacuate passengers from the aircraft. They
must provide assistance, leadership, and direction in
accordance with government and Company regulations in
all emergency situations, including but not limited to,
accidents, bomb threats, or hijacking.
While performing inflight duties, a Flight Attendant works in
confined spaces; therefore, weight and height should be in
proportion. Flight Attendants spend countless hours on
their feet, while also kneeling, bending, reaching, and lifting
objects up to 50 lbs. from the floor to above shoulder level.
Duties: Maintain current qualification in accordance with
applicable (regulatory)

Company requirements.
• Performing all duties as indicated by Company policy and
procedures.
• Meet Company standards for attendance and report for
duty on time, in complete uniform, with all required
equipment and supplies as determined by the Company,
including Company meetings and training.
• Meet and maintain Company standards, regulations for
personal grooming, and appearance while in uniform or
on Company property.
• Ensure passenger compliance with all safety
requirements and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Provide passengers with a high level of professional and
efficient service.
• Ensure passengers are provided the maximum level of
safety and comfort.
• Administer first aid to ill, injured, or incapacitated
passengers; first aid given must be in compliance with
government and Company regulations.
• Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all emergency
procedures and the use of all onboard emergency
equipment.
• Participates in Captain/Flight Attendant briefing to
coordinate the safety and service of flight.
• Coordinate with Ground Personnel regarding required
service equipment and aircraft supplies.
• Coordinate boarding and deplaning of passengers,
including those requiring special assistance, i.e., disabled
passengers.
• Ensure exit row seating requirements are maintained.
• Perform additional duties as necessary, as directed by
the Captain.
• At all times, maintain a current contact information with
Director of Inflight, Human Resources, Scheduling, and
SOC.

  1. I found your Blog really interesting. Jet lag is a consequence of alterations to circadian rhythms. The Jet lag symptoms are fatigue, sleepiness, weakness, impaired coordination and decreased ability to concentrate.
