REPORTS TO: Director of In-Flight
BASIC FUNCTION
The In-Flight Instructor reports to the Director of In-Flight Services
and has the responsibility for the development of all phases of In-
Flight Training to ensure education, safety and compliance with
Allegiant Air policies and with FAA approved training programs.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:
Responsible for the development and implementation of all training
programs for Flight Attendants.
Establish monthly working schedules for Initial, Recurrent and
Differences training, as well as, the Check Flight Attendants to
meet projected training requirements
Responsible for Manuals, regulatory bulletins, program curriculum
and courseware updates as assigned
Responsible for In-Flight related aspects of aircraft certification and
management of new aircraft
Respond to Flight Attendant crews involved in major flight
emergencies or accidents
Evaluate need for and implement retraining of flight attendants as
needed
Attend event reviews, evaluate incidents and make
recommendations for enhancements as needed
Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively with
people at all levels
Ability to read and write English
Professional demeanor, excellent written, verbal and presentation
skills
Must have a valid passport and drivers license
Other duties assigned
Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment
drug screen
Must have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the
Immigrations Act of1986

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; College Degree
preferred
Experience: Allegiant Air qualified Flight Attendant background;
previous facilitation and training background preferred
Knowledge: Proficient in the use of PowerPoint and other Microsoft
Office Products
Working conditions: Office and aircraft environment
Physical demands: Good general health, with no condition that
would be adversely affected by flight; Physically fit; able to
push/pull cart/boxes in excess of 75 pounds.Meet FAR guidelines
