Position: Emergency Procedures Instructor Trainee (Hong Kong)
Description: This role is available to Hong Kong residents or to those who have
the right to work in Hong Kong.
Department: Flight Operations
Reports to: Safety Training Manager
Safety is at the top of Cathay Pacific's commitment list. The
Safety Training School in Cathay Pacific makes sure our pilots and
cabin crew are all well trained in all aspects of emergency
procedures. Thousands of crew passes through our Safety Training
School every year.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct classroom and practical training for crews comprising over
20 nationalities
Test and monitor trainees’ learning progress
Prepare training aids and contribute to the administration support
and continuous enhancement of the training school
Conduct in-flight safety and standard checks to ensure cabin safety
standards are maintained
Receive training to become a certified professional trainer (with
Civil Aviation Department certification)
Requirements:
F.7 standard or equivalent
Minimum 5 years' working experience. Experience in adult training
or cabin crew service will be an advantage
Good swimmer with no fear of heights
Holder of St. John's First Aid Certificate/ Bronze Medallion or
equivalent preferred
Excellent command of English
Mature personality
Available for shift duties and overseas duty travel trips
