In-Flight Supervisor US Airways

Position: Supervisor, Inflight Operations (Phoenix, AZ)
Description: This position will provide daily operational support to front-line employees (i.e., flight attendants).

Detailed Description


§ Supports and assists flight attendants

§ Provides coaching and counseling and issues discipline when warranted

§ Provides direction on interpretation of the Collective Bargaining Agreement

§ Conducts investigations

§ Participates in defusing following critical incidents

§ Serves as operational liaison with other departments

§ Performs line checks aboard revenue flights

§ Participates in after hours on-call duty rotation

§ Participates in interviews for certain InFlight staff positions

§ Performs other duties and special projects, as assigned by director/manager

Job Requirements



§ Minimum 2 yrs experience in a leadership role requiring effective coaching, counseling and motivational skills

§ Knowledge of Company guidelines, Company/AFA agreement and flight attendant duties and responsibilities

§ Must be able to obtain and maintain InFlight qualification, if not currently InFlight qualified

§ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

§ Proficient with Microsoft Office software; CATS/SBS Maestro preferred

§ Approachable and professional demeanor

§ Ability to work with all levels of management and employees

§ Ability to perform well under stress and to manage a heavy and diverse workload

§ Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/training

§ FAA drug test required
