Qualifications
Two years experience as a corporate, airline, or military cabin
safety crewmember. To act as aircraft crew for Caterpillar, cabin
safety professionals must successfully complete training and pass
a proficiency check.

Training includes: Aircraft type; Safety procedures; Emergency
procedures; Aircraft surface contamination; Crew resource
management; Cabin safety training; Basic/intermediate culinary
skills; and Food service/safety.

Desirable Qualifications
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Four-year degree preferred.
Experience in Challenger type aircraft.

Responsibilities

Job Duties:
Completes all Caterpillar required training and all Aviation Services
mandatory training. Completes and submits accurate monthly
expense reports. Maintains a well-groomed and professional
appearance.

Receives flight requirements from operations staff and coordinates
all duties with Cabin Safety Supervisor and flight captain. Verifies
passenger's preferences and prepares service plan including food
selection, proper storage, and preparation. Participates in crew
preflight briefings and inspects aircraft equipment ensuring all
equipment is operationally ready and knows how to use them.
Prepares trip requirements, determines support equipments
readiness, checks paperwork requirements and supervises the
loading of all passengers. Assists in the loading and securing of all
baggage and helps captain determine weight for weight and
balance computations. Monitors all cabin activities as appropriate
to maintain passenger safety.

Conducts safety briefings in compliance with Federal Aviation
Regulations, IS-BAO standards, and Caterpillar standard operating
procedures. Provides instruction to passengers on use of cabin
equipment. In the event of aircraft emergency, the CSP provides
directives, assistance, and leadership to the cabin passengers.
During medical emergencies, provides first aid assistance,
communicating with medical authorities for direction and for
notification that special interventions and assistance will be
necessary upon landing.

The incumbent must prepare and interpret United States and
foreign customs agriculture clearance regulations. Responsible for
proper disposal of all regulated garbage upon arrival at any United
States port of entry airport and for the proper documentation of
disposal. Assist passengers with high speed internet, fax machine,
and phones. Initiates, coordinates and confirms passenger ground
transportation and other services as directed by the flight captain.

Maintain the highest standards of etiquette, protocol, and culinary
skills. Expected to manage commissary inventory, cabin supply
inventory, cabin newsprint subscriptions and cabin laptop
workstation updates. Job may require frequent walking, prolonged
standing, kneeling and bending. Job may require performing
additional duties as assigned by the Cabin Safety Supervisor.

Incumbent(s) must keep abreast of new methods and procedures,
and continually update and hone skills related to safety
procedures, evacuation methods, etc.

The position requires working various shifts and travels
extensively; at least two full weeks each month including
weekends.
