IN-FLIGHT BASE COORDINATOR - 5506

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Base Coordinator reports to the Manager or
Supervisor of In-Flight Service, and is responsible for the
day-to-day operation. Base Coordinators are the direct
contact and support for the In-Flight team members. Base
Coordinators are responsible for maintaining the
environment of safety, sales, professionalism, and
ensuring a high level of job satisfaction

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Monitor that all Allegiant Air policies and procedures
are adhered to on a daily basis
- Coordinate with Stations, Ground Operations and
Maintenance to ensure timely departures
- Offer support & communication to all In-Flight Team
members, by meeting each arrival & departure
- Exercise administrative and supervisory control over
all Flight Attendants
- Track all attendance issues
- Monitor & communicate all policy changes for quick
& accurate implementation
- Facilitate a group or committee (Scheduling,
Uniform, etc.)
- Act as the Liaison between Flight Attendants &
Management
- Represent In-Flight Department on various
committees, such as safety, etc
- Fly Line as required by operational needs
- Assist in recruiting new hires
- Promote and educate the Flight Attendants on
Ancillary Sales
- Ensure ABANCO Units are charged and uploaded
- Ensure sales deposits are made and paperwork
completed
- Other duties as assigned

SUPERVISES: Flight Attendants

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work well with others & communicate
effectively with people at all levels
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to motivate & lead
- Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-
employment drug screen
- Must have authorization to work in the U.S. as
defined in the Immigrations Act of 1986
- Must have a valid passport and drivers license

EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent; College
degree preferred

EXPERIENCE:
Qualified Allegiant Air Flight Attendant preferred; Previous
experience at successfully interacting with FAA desired;
Previous facilitation and training background preferred

KNOWLEDGE:
Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR’s); Computer
proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Products

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Airport and Aircraft environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/REQUIREMENTS:
Some travel required. Good general health, with no
condition that would be adversely affected by flight;
Physically fit; able to push/pull cart/boxes in excess of 300
pounds; Professional appearance and demeanor; neat
and well groomed in uniform. Must have physical dexterity
sufficient to perform repetitive tasks and motions,
including bending at the waist, knees, squatting, kneeling,
crawling, twisting and sustaining those positions for
extended amounts of time. Meet all FAR guidelines. Ability
to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (High
Visibility clothing, Ear protection, safety glasses) when
required
