MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in employee
development training, curriculum design and program
development. Experience needs to include developing and
revising courseware, utilizing Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA) documents/regulatory updates and
advisory circulars as well as experience working with
training manuals required
Minimum 2 years of previous strategic organizational
development initiatives in training required
Ability to write/create training curriculum text, prepare
handouts, design tests / exercises and design web-based
training programs required
Must be able to design effective classroom training
solutions targeting multiple audience types and
experience levels
Experience with or exposure to successfully managing
vendor relationships required
One or more certifications from well-known training
organizations preferred (Corporate Trainer Certificate,
Certified Professional Trainer, or similar certification)
Knowledge of airline operations strongly preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Manage the development of the company
operational/corporate training department materials
Ensures the top-quality and standardization of all training
Responsible for staff development, evaluations, positive
feedback, discipline and on-going coaching ensuring
activities are performed within department and Comair
policy
Communicates with industry professionals from other
airlines and aviation training manufacturers to ensure the
airline is keeping up with or staying ahead of industry-wide
standards of innovation and
