Job Details
As you would expect, we like to look after our staff and offer

contract.

period):·

- a basic salary of £11,564; trip pay, plus on board
commission.

Role Purpose

image. Ultimately your tenacity, hard work and enthusiasm

memorable experience aviation can offer.

Responsibilities

As a Cabin Crew member you’ll be involved in everything
from the anticipation and understanding of each of our
customer's needs to providing the highest standard of
comfort and customer care. All this whilst ensuring the
safety of our customers, your fellow crew and aircraft.

You’ll really know your stuff – all you need to know about
Safety, Security and Aviation Medicine will be taught during
your initial training at our state of the art training HQ. It will
be up to you to keep to that high standard throughout as
you will have to pass regulatory exams every year to keep
your Wings.

You will need to genuinely engage with our customers, so
will need to demonstrate a sincere passion for people,
customer service and their importance to Virgin Atlantic.

Working as part of a team you’ll play an important part in
ensuring a seamless and consistent service. You should
be a good communicator at all levels, supporting others in
doing the same.

Our Cabin Crew are the ultimate ambassadors for Virgin
Atlantic so an understanding of our business and how you
can contribute to its success is important. You’ll need to
remain up to date with business performance and
initiatives and should provide feedback on issues that
impact on the customer experience. Through this you can
have a real impact on helping us achieve our Company
objectives.

Requirements

In our world, people matter so you should be able to
demonstrate a strong customer service ethic and a real
passion for delivering the exceptional customer service
that we are famous for.

You’ll need to take responsibility for identifying,
acknowledging and acting to resolve customer queries
ensuring a positive outcome where possible.

You will be expected to positively promote our award
winning product, services and key business messages so
remaining up to date with business performances and
initiatives will be important.

You will need to be:

minimum of 18 years old
minimum of 5'2" in height
minimum of 3 GCSE level passes (or equivalent)
Fluent in both spoken and written English
Have the right to live and work in the UK indefinitely and
without restriction
In good health – the work can be physically demanding
and you will often work through the night so must be in
excellent health
A confident swimmer (being able to swim 25 metres + and
tread water)

Additional Information….

You must be prepared to be away from home on
weekends, Bank Holidays and over festive periods. Please
bear this in mind as this can often disrupt your social life!
