Cabin Crew Manager

Job Description
Established Middle Eastern Airline have an exciting opportunity for a Cabin Crew Manager to represent their new North African office. Reports to : Head of Operations 1. Ensures that Cabin Crew perform in accordance with the provisions of the Airline - North African Operations Manual and North African Human Resources policies and procedures, and that prompt and effective corrective action is taken when Cabin Crew default. 2. Supervises all aspects of staff welfare, wellbeing and general administration are considered and accounted for, especially during stopovers in foreign countries. 3. Assesses Cabin Crew for competency and takes appropriate action when deficiencies are identified. This will include remedial training, if required. 4. Identifies training needs, produces training plans, organises training sessions, supervises the conduct of training, ensures appropriate standards are set and monitors results. Produces reports on training activities as required by the Director of Operations. 5. Identifies sources of customer feedback including complaints involving Cabin Crew, collates information from customers regarding service standards, analyses to ascertain what alternative actions could have been taken by Cabin Crew and ensures resulting 'lessons learnt' are incorporated into briefings, training sessions, procedures, etc. as appropriate in order to ensure effective implementation. 6. Ensures that the minimum requirements for crewing for particular aircraft are met. Makes rosters for Cabin Crew, ensuring fair and equitable distribution of assignments and keeping to the restrictions on duty hours for Cabin Crew as detailed in Part 7 of the Airlines - North African Operations Manual. Ensures that Cabin Crew receive the minimum rest periods as detailed in Part 7. 7. Checks the standards of dress and grooming of Cabin Crew, taking appropriate remedial action when required. 8. Takes prompt disciplinary action in the event of breaches of regulations, such as the consumption of alcohol within specified periods before duty, etc. 9. In consultation with the HR Department, assists in the recruitment, selection and induction of Cabin Crew. 10. Liaise with other departments with regards day to day problems. 11. Check and inspect aircraft safety eqiupment condition. 12. Planning for Manpower and preparing annual budgets accordingly. 13. Selects the service providers for catering and cleaning and monitors their performance through conducting regular audits. Establishes Service Level Agreements [SLAs'] with each provider and provides feedback from Cabin Crew on their performance. Candidates must be fluent in French and English. Senior Flight Attendant/ Purser with the right level of maturity and leadership Would be considered for this role
