Essential Duties:
The In-flight Supervisor is responsible for leading and monitoring
the overall performance of a team of Flight Attendants, ensuring
the consistent delivery of the Inflight product and supporting and
achieving corporate and departmental goals.
• Motivate and coach Flight Attendants to ensure a positive work
environment and encourage individual development and success
• Ensure compliance with regulatory procedures (Federal Aviation
Regulations, manual compliance, etc.)
• Administer company policies consistently
• Perform appearance checks to ensure compliance with uniform
guidelines
• Monitor lost time by conducting attendance reviews prior to the
FA’s next trip
• Perform Flight Attendant Manual checks
• Complete check rides to monitor consistent delivery of the
onboard product
• Conduct concourse duties to support corporate goals
• Monitor crew check-ins and conduct preflight briefings.
• Improve customer service ratings through coaching sessions and
mentoring
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Previous Flight Attendant experience preferred, must be able to
hold Flight Attendant qualification to include ability to fly
• High School Diploma or GED required, College degree preferred
• One year minimum previous Inflight management or Flight
Attendant experience preferred
• Thorough understanding and application of company policies and
procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to anticipate and resolve problems in an expeditious
manner
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be available for flexible scheduling to support Spirit Airlines
operation to include weekends and holidays
• Work record which reflects strong leadership skills, superior
performance and high ethical standards
• Ability to motivate and counsel when required
• Positive attitude with the ability to be an effective mentor
• Strong commitment to excellence, innovation, and accountability
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Proven ability to coach, motivate, and provide direction to
subordinates.
• Ability to manage multiple detail-oriented projects in a fast-paced
environment
• Ability to provide 10 years of employment, education,
unemployment history per FAR 108.33
