Position Summary
The Global Concierge is responsible for coordinating and
overseeing the successful completion of each customer
trip. This position has the responsibility for ongoing
customer care with the goal of developing and nurturing
meaningful and strong customer relationships. He/she
should use acquired knowledge of each customer to
personalize the service and to anticipate, meet, and
exceed customer needs. They should be proactive in
recognizing and resolving customer issues and problems
and provide customers with timely, accurate and
appropriate communications at all times.
The Global Concierge is ultimately responsible for
ensuring that the customers of NEXUS always receive the
best possible service and overall experience, and carries
out liaisons in accordance with the organization's policies
and applicable laws.
Required Skills
EDUCATION -
Two-year diploma required
Four-year degree preferred
Studies in hospitality management, business
management, or communications desired
EXPERIENCE -
Experience in similar industry setting of 2 years or more
would be preferred
Candidates with previous experience in Customer Service
or Client Relations in five-star hotels, premium banking
sector or similar, will be preferred
Experience in dealing directly with high-profile clients is
desired
SKILLS (TECHNICAL) -
Computer literate (MS office)
Ability to acquire a thorough knowledge of NEXUS
computer software programs
Aviation experience is preferred but not mandatory
SKILLS (LEADERSHIP/SOFT) -
Must display high levels of care and compassion at all
times
Must display a "service heart" at all times
High standard of personal appearance and grooming
High standard of punctuality and etiquette
Treats others with dignity and respect at all times
Adaptable to change; a change catalyst
Ability to make reasonable and sound decisions while
alone
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Maturity to use tact and diplomacy when dealing with
client's comments and know when to escalate to senior
management
Must be culturally and emotionally mature to interact with
customers
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication
skills
Must possess strong organizational skills
Ability to prioritize work based on level of importance
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a dynamic and fast-
paced environment
Sound foundation in teamwork approach; communication
and interpersonal skills a must
Ability to create an immediate and positive rapport with
customers and colleagues alike
OTHER REQUIREMENTS-
A valid & clear passport with the unrestricted right to live,
work and be able to travel worldwide
