Job Purpose
The Cabin Manager (CM) is a leader and a role model and
is responsible for leading the cabin crew team onboard,
taking responsibility for the cabin operation, for the
associated customer experience and for promoting
teamwork.

The CM ensures the safe and consistent delivery of a
quality onboard service through the continuous
performance management of cabin crew in accordance
with company and regulatory policies and procedures,
carrying out performance assessments on crew as
required.

Minimum Requirements

•Possess a minimum of 12 months flying experience in
the last 36 months
•Age 18+
•Height 5'2" (1.58m) to 6'3" (1.90m) with weight in
proportion to height
•Physically fit and able to pass a medical assessment
•Fluent in English, both spoken and written – you will be
tested
(if you are based in Europe you need to be fluent in the
native language of the country and English, for Switzerland
please note that you need to be fluent in French)
•Able to swim 25m and tread water for at least 1 minute
•The right to live and work in the UK without restriction
•A passport allowing you to travel freely within the EU
without restriction
•Comfortable in a selling role and able to deal with all
passengers professionally
•Good standard of education
•No visible tattoos or body piercing which cannot be
covered discreetly
•Able to arrive at your chosen base within 90 minutes
(unaided by easyJet) and be prepared to make this journey
every day, at any time of the day
•A verifiable 5 year history

Key Responsibilities

•To accept full responsibility for safety and standards
throughout the cabin
•To ensure compliance with company policy/procedures in
accordance with the easyJet Operations Manuals
•To ensure the highest levels of customer service onboard
at all times
•To actively take responsibility for others, both customers
and crew
•To agree specific and measurable goals, objectives and
performance standards, during the morning briefing
•To monitor performance, praise effort and offer
constructive feedback to motivate and improve
performance
•To complete the required number of onboard
assessments of crew and follow-up with feedback to
improve performance
•To look for practical ways to reduce costs whilst onboard
•To update own / team knowledge and skill as appropriate
especially to maintain CM qualification
•To be consistently positive even under pressure
•To take responsibility for actions and ensure that all
activity supports easyJet Values
•To generate enthusiasm and energy for tasks, taking the
lead and coordinating to get things done
•To generate well thought through proposals for changes
to existing processes and procedures onboard to improve
efficiency or customer service
•To challenge individuals who express negativity when
faced with change or innovation
•To promote trust amongst the crew and demonstrate
integrity in all actions
•To maintain Cabin Manager qualification
•To take overall accountability for Cash Management of
bar / gift shop stock
