Essential Duties:


Ensure Inflight Department training personnel adhere to all FAA regulations and Company policies/procedures
Maintains, develops, and oversees syllabus and all training programs for new hire and current flight attendants
Implement policies and procedures for the Inflight Training Department
Approves and audits the Inflight Training programs to ensure compliance with the requirements of the applicable FARs and Spirit Airlines’ approved training program
Selects, trains, and supervises Inflight Training Instructors
Oversee the coordination of new hire classes to include contacting candidates, coordinating travel, set up OE and observation flights, etc.
Actively participates in class instruction
Manage and train the Jumpseat Program for non-Inflight approved individuals
Handles disciplinary action as required in training classes (Release from Training/Situational Awareness)
Create monthly schedules for instructors
Department representative for the creation and implementation of a Company-wide e-learning solution
Develop, implement, and maintain e-learning program for Inflight Department
Oversees development of Inflight Training courseware, study guides, textbooks, etc.
Revise support materials and audio-visual presentations to support training modules
Responsible for the standardization of all training materials
Observes instructors to assess competency and conducts Training Self Audit and Instructor Evaluations bi-annually
Enters/ensures the entry of FAs into Crew Qual following completion of training classes
Continuously monitors and evaluates the incorporation of cost and time saving technology to support the Inflight Training Department and Spirit’s business model
Provide good working environment and promote communication between all employees and departments
Complete FOTM (Flight Operations Training Manual) revisions as necessary
Maintain Flight Attendant qualifications as a Spirit Airlines Flight Attendant
Oversees all classroom and training instructional equipment to ensure all devices meet/exceed FAA applicable regulations
Participates in safety debriefs as necessary
Any other duties as assigned by the Sr. Manager, Inflight Training and Procedures



Requirements:


High School Diploma or GED required, College Degree preferred
One (1) year on line as a Spirit Airlines Flight Attendant or six (6) months on line as a Spirit Airlines Flight Attendant with at least one (1) year of previous airline experience as a qualified flight attendant preferred
Previous Management/Supervisory experience preferred
Computer literate and experience with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Able to oversee, communicate with, and mange a diverse work group
Must be able to work extra hours/weekends and holidays when necessary
Some travel will be necessary
